Aloney HaBashan<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to Aloney HaBashan \u2013 the eastern most location\/venue\/spot\/place in Israel!<\/p>\n

Aloney HaBashan is a religious cooperative village established in the Golan Heights in 1981 by an idealistic core-group from the Bnei Akiva movement. Its name, meaning \u201cOaks of Bashan\u201d, is taken from the book of Isaiah 2:13: \u201cAnd upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The village is situated at the outskirts of the Bashanit Mountain Range in the southern part of the Golan Heights, at an altitude of 980 meters above sea level. Thanks to its height visitors enjoy cool weather throughout the summer, while in winter you can look forward to an enchanted snow-covered experience!<\/p>\n
